Highlight: A Community Art Show -  May 28th - June 25th

Thank you for your interest in our community art show "Highlight"! The intention of this year's show is to focus on our entire River Tree Arts community, including our faculty, staff, students, members, and the broader community. If you are interested in participating in the show please complete the registration form linked at the bottom of the page. Specific details and requirements about the show can be found below.

As always, if you have any questions please contact us at gallery@rivertreearts.org and a member of the Gallery Committee will be in touch.

Highlight: A Community Art Show - Details

  • Registration deadline: Friday, April 30th

  • Current faculty & staff of River Tree Arts may enter up to three pieces.

  • Any community member may enter one piece (community members are defined as active RTA members or any member of the general public).

  • Artwork entered in the show must be dropped off on your indicated drop-off date. We are unable to make individual drop-off accommodations.

  • River Tree Arts will process all sales, but will not take a percentage of the sale. If an artist’s work sells through the show we encourage, but do not require, a suggested donation of $15. This helps cover payment and processing costs associated with the sale.

  • If a piece sells through the show the artist’s payment will be available for pickup by early July. Artists will be notified at the end of the show regarding the sale status of their piece(s).

  • The Highlight show opening reception is set for Friday, May 28th. We hope to host this in a hybrid indoor/outdoor format, but this is subject to change as COVID restrictions change over the coming months.

  • The show runtime will be from May 28th - June 25th. All unsold work will be made available for pickup shortly after it is taken down on June 25th. Specific dates are currently TBD.
